Hey Guys!

Hope all of you had a great weekend 🙂 We have had visitors from afar this weekend so it has been quite quiet on the blog front… Anyways, I woke up with the biggest smile ever from the world’s finest daughter today * smile * and now we´re sitting here, singing together, on my very first Mother’s Day 🙂

Btw, since last I managed to be at IKEA and I have to show you this great plate that I found. It´s from their Limited Edition collection, «BRÅKIG», by the Danish ArtRebels! I have also received my new dining table, and I´ve made ​​major changes in the kitchen and in the hallway, as well as I have completed the geographical wall of mine: D iiiik! Ok, guys, now I’ll share one of my truly guilty pleasures with you … I must admit that I am craving the Y chair by Hans J. Wegner so much that I get a little dizzy every time I look at it. Have already started saving, and my budget dictates that I will afford it next year * laughs *

Well, I have to admit that since it is so long until I can afford to buy it, I am driving by Møbelgalleriet occasionally

(waaaaay too often!)
just to see and feel the delicious wood in my hands. Insanity? I know … but it is SO worth it!

I´ve found this book the other day at a flea market. I just love Love LOVE the cover. The white wood against the brown leather. It´s just perfect!

O.K. This takes TIME! Time I don´t really have … But the result- it will be worth it 🙂 I´ll Show you more as soon as I finish.

I have sold off both dining table and chairs today, so tomorrow I leave for Oslo to find some tabletops for the new table I´m making. The plan is to create my own table *wiiii*. Inspired by one of the dining tables from the designer HAY.

Good morning guys!

Now as the days are so gray outside, I think it’s so nice to bring in some pastels and color inside. It gives me a great deal of energy and I love the look it provides to our home. I´m totally hung up on contrasts these days, so right now I´m sitting here enjoying the look of this while I´m sipping my black coffe.

The other day I came across the phrase «Himmeli» at the great blogger designlykke.com. You can make these in all sorts of shapes and sizes, and I chose the diamond shape for my living room. It’s incredibly easy, all you need is cardboard straws,  scissor, string and spray paint in the desired color. If there is any interest I can make a «how to» guidance for you?!

I found these beloved copper hooks from nomess.dk at Møbelgården a few weeks ago. I couldn´t find the inspiration for what I would use it to. But that was before I went to buy some more wallpaint for our living room, and come across a wire so cool that I just HAD to have it! Show you more later 😀
